As many of you know, each year between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, Garland Collection donates 10% of sales made through the GC website to a worthy organization. This year, we will be starting a little early and I wanted to share with clients and friends where we will be contributing.
Beginning today, we have chosen to donate to Everytown (http://everytown.org), “a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities.” Everytown promotes common-sense steps to save lives in our cities, in our homes and in our schools.
More than ever, MANY organizations need support — from donations to volunteers to even awareness of what they do and why they are so important.
Throughout the new year, Garland Collection, my family and I will continue to support groups that protect our brand’s core values — inclusion, respect, compassion, integrity and the safety of our children and our communities.

After just returning from an eighty-five degree weekend back in Los Angeles, I’ll now be hunkering down at home on this wintry east coast snow day cooking, baking and pretty much hibernating. (Mike – just a friendly reminder that this … Continue reading →
With school out, I’ve been doing a lot of baking with Sweetlips and The Bean. There is something so satisfying and sweet about having my two little boys sitting on stools at the kitchen island “helping mommy make things.” They … Continue reading →
